Welcoming of Children
If you are bringing a newborn to Sunday services for the first time, please notify the rector so a special welcome and prayer for family and child can be said during the service.

A member of the Clergy and/or the Eucharist Visitors team should be notified in advance of planned hospitalizations or at the time of emergency admissions so that prayers, sacramental administrations, and visitations can be arranged.

Holy Baptism
Adults: It is recommended that adults take part in a catechumenal process which includes class work over six Sundays in Lent which culminates in the Baptism at the Great Vigil of Easter.

Infants and Children are usually baptized at any one of the annual baptismal feast days: The Baptism of our Lord (January), The Great Vigil of Easter (March/April), Pentecost (May/June), All Saints’ Sunday (November), or at the time of the Bishop’s visitation.

The Celebration and Blessing of a Marriage is offered to members of St. David’s and their families. Couples should notify the church office.

Confirmation, Reception into the Episcopal Church and
Re-Affirmation of Baptismal Vows
It is customary for those seeking these rites to take part in preparatory classes.
Ceremonies are usually performed at the time of the Bishop’s visitation.
