The Southfield Parks & Garden Club is using part of our grounds for a Community Garden. All produce grown will be given to the Forgotten Harvest organization.
2009: Plant bed preparation completed. Spring 2010: planting began & 173 lbs was harvested. 2011: 507+ lbs was harvested.

Operation Overboard - Go Deep with God. Each day at VBS will feature a different topic: - Depend on God - Dare to Care - Claim Jesus - Choose to Follow - and - Change the World. The lessons cover the stories of Noah and the sea, Naaman and the Jordan River, Jesus and his baptism in the Jordan, the disciples fishing in the Sea of Galilee, and Paul’s boat ride on stormy seas. Friday will be Family Day -- the kids will put on a presentation for their parents. Kids will learn songs and have classroom, science, and craft projects.

On Sunday, January 16th, St. David's along with other Southfield area churches participated in a service project hosted by the "Lift Up Southfield" organization. Everyone met at the Forgotten Harvest warehouse for a 'box lunch' and to pack food into smaller boxes for easy distribution to area food pantries for the hungry.
