Susan Brooks

Susan Brooks came to St. David’s in May of 2009.

She was born and raised on the east coast and has lived in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Michigan. Susan spent her career in social service agencies including five Girl Scout Councils, the YWCA, the YMCA, Casa Maria Community Center in SW Detroit and Paws With A Cause. She has a BA in Sociology from Immaculata College in Pennsylvania and an MA in Management & Supervision and Personnel Management from Central Michigan University.

Susan’s ministries include homelessness, food, justice issues, and adult education/Christian formation. She also serves as the coordinator for the Lay Eucharistic Visitors and is a member of the Hunger Committee and the Adult Forum Committee.

Susan lives in Lathrup Village with her four dogs: Pumpkin, Emma, Payton and Oscar.
